Congratulations to our 2026 Elyssa's Mission Scholarship Recipients!
I am honored to be a recipient of the Elyssa’s Mission scholarship award. This award will help offset the cost of college. I plan to pursue a degree in psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and, eventually, graduate school. This scholarship will help me on my path to pursue a career that will support mental health and make a positive impact on the lives of others. I am truly grateful to Elyssa’s Mission and their support of my educational and career goals.
I am so honored to receive the Elyssa’s Mission Scholarship. Mental health advocacy is a mission I hold closely to my heart, and one I hope to carry forward in service of others. So many people silently carry struggles that go unseen, and the tools and awareness that Elyssa’s Mission provides can make all the difference in someone’s darkest moment. I am deeply grateful for this recognition and committed to sharing this message as widely as I can, so that no one ever feels alone.
Receiving the Elyssa’s Mission Scholarship is such an honor, and I am incredibly grateful to be affiliated with such an amazing and supportive program. Throughout my life, I have been surrounded by individuals—myself included—who have struggled with their mental health, which has inspired me to continue advocating for mental health awareness. I hope to pursue a career in healthcare, and I am looking forward to continue my education so I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
I am so incredibly grateful to have been awarded this scholarship. It means a great deal to me and my family that I can pursue a higher education at a school that I would thrive in, without financial burden holding me back. Not having to take out loans will also allow me to give back to my community through my service and time instead of putting that energy into paying off loans. Thank you so much to everyone who made my achievement of this scholarship possible. I cannot wait to pursue a higher education and give back to my community and country through a legal lens.
Receiving the Elyssa’s Mission Scholarship means so much to me because it represents the importance of mental health awareness, compassion, and supporting others through difficult experiences. Throughout my life, I have seen how mental health challenges can affect individuals and families, which has inspired me to become a neurologist and advocate for better understanding and care. This scholarship not only helps support my education and future goals, but also reminds me that sharing kindness, awareness, and support can truly make a difference in people’s lives. I am incredibly grateful to Elyssa’s Mission for believing in me and encouraging students to continue spreading the ACT message in their communities.
The Elyssa’s Mission curriculum helped me learn how to advocate for both my own and my friends’ mental health wellness. This scholarship reduces my financial pressure, allowing me to pursue educational opportunities that will further equip me to make a positive impact on society. I am beyond grateful to be receiving this scholarship not only as a step toward my future, but additionally as a representative of Elyssa’s Mission. The teachings of the SOS program help break down a topic that seems impossible to approach. Through educating others, entire communities are positively impacted. On an individual level, SOS shows that uncomfortable conversations can be the most impactful. Silence can be the heaviest weight of all. Wherever my future takes me, I will continue to break the silence for a better future.
