Elyssa’s Mission fully funds the evidence-based SOS Signs of Suicide program, a service of Riverside Community Care. To learn more about the SOS program, click here. Funding includes all required materials as well as hands-on support required to ensure successful program implementation. We will continue to provide support and funding year after year, while giving schools the tools to implement the program independently.
Requirements for Partnership:
- Employs protocols for working with/responding to potentially suicidal students (Elyssa’s Mission provides model templates)
- Maintains the integrity of the SOS Signs of Suicide program by implementing all core components
- Administers pre- and post-tests to students (only required year 1)
- Completes Annual Outcome Survey
We remain committed to supporting middle and high schools in Illinois with the SOS program.
If you are a Chicago Public School, we encourage you to complete the form so we can learn more about your school’s guidelines for partnering with outside organizations. Please provide any relevant information about these guidelines in response to the final question, “Any additional information to share?”
